The dusty air will enter in the middle part of the dust collector from the bottom, the heavy and big particles will sink down to the dust hopper by gravity. The small dust will be absorbed on the surface of filtered bag by different effect. The purified air will enter into the upper part through the Venturi tube and be discharged from the air outlet. As time goes, the absorbed dust on the filter bag surface will be more and more, the resistance of filter will increase gradually and the filter capacity will lower. To keep the filter in good working condition and make sure the pressure is controlled in a reasonable range, it requires to remove the dust on the surface of filtered bag.

The pulse bag dust collector is normally applied in the pre-treatment (1st stage filter), it can purify most of the big particle dust, and the price of filter bag is much lower, so the maintenance cost is also low.
